I’d like to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in this area. I went
to Ellen Woodside Elementary, Woodmont Middle and Woodmont High. I have a
degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University and a Masters degree in
Administration from Clemson University. I began my teaching career at Fork
Shoals 21 years ago as a second grade teacher. I also taught 3rd
grade before leaving Fork Shoals to be an Assistant Principal in Spartanburg
District Six for several years. After the birth of my second child, I stayed
home with my children for a few years before returning part time to Fork Shoals
as Science Lab Specialist. Five years ago, I returned to the classroom as a
fourth grade teacher. My husband, Dan and I have three children. My daughter,
Hayden, is entering seventh grade. My son, Reid, is going into sixth grade and my
youngest, Will, enter 2nd grade this year at Fork Shoals. My hobbies include:
reading, swimming, travel, spending family time, and Clemson football!
